Water Filter Protoype

For this project, the prompt was to create a unique functional take on a handheld device. My group decided on water filters as we all had issues with our own, and each tackeld an individual problem. I tackled the issue of speed and wanted to find a manual way to speed up the process of filterig water. For this reason I mimicked a french press design in order to manually press the water through the filter. This used the system that a straw filter would use, as the manual strength of sucking water through the straw would push the water through the filter in an instant. This design uses a similar process of pressing the water through a filter in order to be drinkable in an instant.
